The Technology Transfer Center at the University of Connecticut is Connecticut's Local Technical Assistance Program, one of the 58 centers in the United States funded by the Federal Highway Administration and the State Department of Transportation.

Our mission is to foster a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound surface transportation system by improving the skills and increasing the knowledge of the transportation workforce in Connecticut.

Who We Serve

The Technology Transfer Center provides education and technical assistance to members of Connecticut's Transportation and Public Safety Community, including municipal public works directors, street and road maintenance superintendents and staff, city and town engineers, Connecticut Department of Transportation employees, transportation planners and law enforcement professionals serving as legal traffic authorities.
