Safety Town Loan Program
The Safety Town program is designed to teach children about transportation safety through hands-on learning. The interactive display includes mock vehicles, miniature roadway with crosswalk, pedestrian signal and working traffic light.
Safety Town is now available on loan from the Connecticut Technology Transfer Center at no charge to schools and municipal agencies in Connecticut.
The center is in the process of expanding the display components and completing curriculum development with support from an external grant.
